- Revenue Operations
The function that aligns sales, marketing, and customer success operations under a unified data and process layer.
Example: A Revenue Operations team might own CRM configuration, pipeline reporting, and lead routing.

An engineer who builds automation, enrichment, and data systems that power go-to-market motions.
Example: A GTM Engineer might build a Clay + Salesforce pipeline to enrich and route inbound leads.

A technical role that bridges product and sales by designing solutions for prospective customers during the sales process.
Example: A Solutions Engineer might build a custom demo environment to show how a product integrates with a prospect's stack.

An engineer who embeds with customers to ship production integrations, deployments, and custom implementations.
Example: An FDE might spend weeks on-site with a customer deploying and configuring a complex data pipeline.
Translation note: This term is used primarily in English-speaking markets. Some companies use Implementation Engineer or Deployment Engineer.

A work arrangement where the employee works from a location of their choice, not a company office.
Example: A remote role might allow working from any country, or be restricted to specific time zones.

A work arrangement that combines office and remote work, typically with a minimum number of in-office days.
Example: A hybrid role might require three days per week in the San Francisco office.

The total pay package for a role, which may include base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.
Example: A compensation range of $150k–$200k base with equity might appear on a GTM Engineer listing.
- Equity
Ownership stake in a company, typically offered as stock options or restricted stock units (RSUs) as part of compensation.
Example: A startup might offer 0.05%–0.2% equity to an early GTM Engineer hire.
- ATS
Applicant Tracking System — software used by employers to manage job postings and applications. RevenueRoles discovers jobs from supported ATS platforms.
Example: Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby are common ATS platforms used by technology companies.
Translation note: ATS is an English abbreviation used internationally in HR technology.
- Resume
A document summarizing work experience, skills, and education, submitted as part of a job application.
Example: Most ATS platforms accept PDF or DOCX resume uploads.
Translation note: Also called CV (curriculum vitae) in many countries.
- Application status
The current state of a job application in the hiring process, such as submitted, under review, or closed.
Example: RevenueRoles lets signed-in users track their application status for saved jobs.
- Verification
The process by which RevenueRoles confirms a job listing is live on the employer's career page or ATS before publishing it.
Example: A job receives a verified_at timestamp when the pipeline confirms it is currently published.
